Pam Waid is a graduate of Lynn High School and attended Northwest Junior College, Athens
State College, UAB Walker College and The American Institute of Banking of Birmingham. She
has lived in Lynn most of her life, until about six years ago when she and her husband Tim moved
to Double Springs near the Corinth Recreation Area of Smith Lake. The Waid's built a house on
their cattle farm and made that their home. Pam is a complex person who has worn many hats
during her working career, which include direct sales, substitute teacher, banking at First National
Bank of Jasper and First National Bank of Hamilton, Instructional Aide for Winston County School
System, and the most trying and rewarding job of all has been being a mother and gran. Tim on
the other hand, was in the automobile industry of Walker County for twenty years as a salesman.
He is the owner of his own business “Homefront Steak and Seafood Restaurant.” The Waid’s have
been married thirty three years and are proud parents of one daughter, Kristi and two
granddaughters, Graci, who is 11 years old and Ginger Grace, who is almost 2 years old. The
Waid's are members of Old Enon Baptist Church of Lynn.
